Plinth Rentals

Usage
Plinths rented from Plinth Charming can be used in a range of settings but customers must ensure that these are dry conditions in clean spaces to reduce risk of damage. Any alterations of plinths must be first discussed prior to renting. Puncturing the plinth surface by drilling or screwing is forbidden.

Ordering online
Plinth descriptions and images online, within printed literature and email communications are to illustrate the product on offer. Small discrepancies in colours and sizes can occur and all plinth variables are subject to availability. Orders are only confirmed once a customer has received an invoice within 48 hours of ordering plinths.

Plinth rental periods that include weekends and public holidays are charged at normal rates but deliveries, pickups or returns are not accepted on these days unless expressly agreed prior to rental period.

Cancellation Policy
Orders of 5 plinths or less: Cancellations 3 business days before pickup are able to receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 3 business days of rental period are able to receive a refund of 50%.
Orders of 6 plinths or more: Cancellations 10 business days before rental period are able to receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 10 business days of rental period are able to receive a refund of 50%.
Orders of any amount cancelled within 24 hours of rental period will receive no refund.

Courier deliveries and return pickup
To ensure quick and smooth deliveries customers must provide clear address instructions, be available via telephone on delivery and pick up and prepare adequate parking space for the vehicle. Failure to do so which results in an extended delivery durations can result in increased delivery fees that will be shared to customer with a supplement invoice. Customers should check while the courier is present that all items have arrived.

Our courier service is strictly limited to building entrance drop-off only and does not include unpacking or installation. For orders exceeding the capacity of the courier vehicle, a second charge will be agreed with customer. Our courier service is only available within the Berlin S Bahn Ring. Any other orders that request delivery will be calculated case by case and communicated with customer via email prior to rental period.

Damages that appear to have occurred during courier transit must be recorded by the customer and immediately reported to us via email.

Customer collection
Appointments must be made via email or telephone prior to collecting Plinth rentals. Failure to do so may result in Plinths not being available for immediate collection even on rental days. Appointments must also be made for when returning plinths. Pick up and return on weekends and weekdays before 08:00 and after 18:00 is not accepted unless pre-agreed via email.

Packaging
It is the customers responsibility to retain all packaging and repack each rented plinth as delivered. Lost or badly damaged packaging will incur a 25 € fee.

Payment
Payments that are not made via Paypal but are fulfilled by Direct Bank Transfer must be cleared within 48 hours of ordering. Failure to do so may result in order becoming void.

Plinth rentals are calculated via variations on sizes and days. A set fee per rental is included per Plinth rental at checkout. All prices listed include 19% German Sales Tax (Mehrwertsteuer). A break down of this is visible at the checkout.

Damages
Each Plinth will be checked for damages before a rental period. Any damages found upon unpacking must be recorded by the customer and immediately reported to us via email. Plinths that return with substantial aesthetic or structural damages will be charged to the customer that appears on the original invoice at full online purchase price. Plinths that do not return within the rental period will also be charged at full purchase price.

Relevant insurance should be taken out by customers to protect against theft and damage.

Liability
Plinth Charming (Andrew Mason) will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by rented plinths.

Plinths purchased online and received but not required can be returned within 14 days of purchase. The Plinths should should show no sign of use and be in the original packaging. Postage costs cannot be reimbursed.

Custom Plinths
Custom Plinths to meet specific needs can be ordered by contacting us and receiving a custom quote to suit your requirements. Custom Plinths have a minimum 4 week lead time except when a special arrangement is communicated with the customer. Due to plinths being built to customer specification, returns cannot be accepted. Standard courier rates do not apply to custom plinth orders.

Walls:

Currently Wall Modules and Wall Panels are available for rent and purchase only via contacting us and receiving a custom quote to suit your requirements.

Walls Modules and Wall Panels will be installed only by Plinth Charming employees. Stage weights must be used at all times and should only be modified by Plinth Charming employees. Modification of Wall Modules and Wall Panels should be verified by Plinth Charming. Plinth Charming accepts no responsibility when all work is not carried out by its employees.

Rented Wall Modules and Wall Panels remain the property of Plinth Charming at all times.
